Manchester Beer Festival

In January we attended Manchester Beer Festival at Manchester Central.

It was a fantastic and friendly event with a chance for us to catch up with some of the breweries we are already working with as well as those for the future.

As well as beer, there were fabulous food stalls and even crafts on show from wood work to piping there was lots to take in. 

Attending on the Wednesday we had a great mix of trade and public as it was also open to CAMRA members. We even had a small and subtle stand ourselves. The interest in our selections was great and people really liked the tubes.

We were delighted to see Wily Fox Brewery and Donkeystone Brewery achieve recognition during the Manchester Beer Awards as both were narrowed down to Manchester Brewers' Challenge finalists.

Donkeystone's Javanilla Stout was a popular choice and a fantastic achievement for this new brewery and we are proud to have this in our selections including our Order.Beer selection.

It was also great to see Thirst Class Ales and Bollington Brewery as featured breweries and you can find their beer in their own selections as well as our collections.

We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, late into the evening and look forward to seeing everyone again at another event soon.
