The initial selection includes the following cans from the fantastic Brass Castle Brewery:
2 x Bad Kitty (330ml can, 5.5%)
Robust fulsome dark porter, enhanced with vanilla. A 5.5% chewy chocolate-vanilla dream of a porter. Bad Kitty earned its name from the antics of the two original brewhouse cats, who delight in mischievously supervising proceedings.
1 x Dark Web (440ml, 4.8%)
Our new 4.8% dry stout with a complex malt body offering chocolate and roasted coffee notes, a drying palate, lifted with citrus and pepper aroma through generous addition of Chinook & Columbus hops. Certified Gluten Free
1 x Disruptor (440ml can, 7.4%)
A devilishly drinkable 7.4% hazy New England IPA. Hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Citra for big fruit aroma and maximum juiciness. Certified Gluten Free
1 x Fruit Lupe (hop & fruit combo may vary) 440ml, 4.8%
The second offering in our range of 4.8% single-hop pale ales, matched up with fruit to complement the hop.
2 x Hoptical Illusion (330ml can, 4.3%)
A hop-forward American pale ale bursting with citrus, pine, and tropical fruit notes.
2 x Helles Lager (330ml can, 4.4%)
Munich-style lager. Unlike a pilsner, Munich lagers are malt forward with a gentle honey-like sweetness. Soft, easy drinking and refreshing. Certified Gluten Free SIBA National Champion Small Pack Lager 2017
1 x RhüBerlin (440ml, 3.5%)
We've married up the tartness of Yorkshire rhubarb with the acidity of a Berliner Weisse, resulting in a 3.5% fresh, thirst quenching delight. Certified Gluten Free.
2 x Sunshine IPA (330ml can, 5.7%)
Sunshine IPA (330ml can, 5.7%) - India Pale Ale made in the traditional Yorkshire way, only with a pile of new world hops for fruity citrus bite.
GLUTEN-FREE
To achieve certified gluten-free status Brass Castle Brewery use a Murphy & Son enzyme product called 'Brewers Clarex' - added in a tiny amount during fermentation. Marvellously, it contains an enzyme isolated from a self-cloned strain of the mould Aspergillus niger. Some breweries use it to reduce protein haze; but a lovely side-effect is a reduction in dissolved gluten. Their certified gluten-free beers are tested through Brewlab, Sunderland, using the competitive ELISA testing protocol. These are all available with our gluten free beer delivery service.
