Fallen Brewery, Fallen Brewing, Scotland

The award winning Fallen Brewery is based in Sirlingshire, Scotland. We've featured a few of their beers for sometime now including the popular Local Motive, Chew Chew and others influenced by their train heritage and links to Kippen Station. Brewing great beer since 2014 from the heart of the Engine Shed!

Fallen Brewing strives for quality and innovation, without losing sight of tradition. Combining established and progressive techniques with generous hopping rates, pure, soft Scottish water and our imaginative use of adjuncts to give full-flavoured, modern craft beer. The brewery is housed in the Old Kippen Railway Station in rural Stirlingshire, with far-reaching mountain views all around. We brew with electricity from 100% renewable sources, our spent malt becomes cattle feed and hops are composted.

All casks and kegs are filled by hand, and as the first small Scottish craft brewery to install their own canning line on site, have total control over the quality of every beer released. All beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised, to retain the maximum flavour and aroma possible. They always source the finest ingredients they possibly can from the likes of Warminster, Weyermanns, SimplyHops & Charles Faram.

The history of kippen station

First opened in 1856, this busy Victorian railway station played an important part in Stirlingshire’s rich rural heritage. One of many stations on the Forth & Clyde Line, it was the route’s second busiest stop, due to two creameries, a sandstone quarry and the Boquhan Brick & Tile Works using it as their main route to Glasgow, and two nearby country houses receiving visitors throughout the year. Although the station closed in 1934, its industrial legacy continues today as home to our thriving brewery.

Fallen Brewing Brewery and Kippen Station

Renovated over 12 months by owner and head brewer Paul Fallen, they began brewing our original range of beers in the Engine Shed in April 2014. The Station has provided us the perfect home, with no shortage of character and history, whilst providing space to grow the brewery as it continues to develop.

You can find Fallen Brewery's beers in our mixed selections and gift tubes. All delivered to any door across the UK.
